Vijay Goes the Rajini way,again

VIJAY is currently proceeding in top gear for director Babu Sivan’s 'Vettaikaaran', in which the Ilaya Thalapathy is paired with Anushka. The film, produced by AVM, has already finished canning a few shots, including the scene where the hero meets the heroine. These were shot in Rajamundhary, Andhra Pradesh. Apart from these, the actor’s introduction song was also shot, with his son Sanjay shaking a leg with dad Ilaya Thalapathy. Presently, shooting is taking place in Chennai. Another song, shot in true Rajini style, is set to be shot next. Though the location has not been revealed, it is said a song showing Vijay’s transformation from rags to riches will be canned next, similar to Rajini’s songs in the same vein in films like Vetri Nichiyam in Annamalai or Vetri Kodi Kattu in Padayappa. Here’s hoping this song really takes Vijay, who is enduring a lean patch now, to dizzying heights.
